Our busy, modern and well established dental practice is looking for an exceptional, experienced Dental Receptionist to join and work alongside a strong team of dental professionals. A successful candidate will have a passion for the dental field and has at least 2 years of full time dental reception experience.

Duties
Responsibilities and Duties
Greet and assist patients as they arrive, always striving to leave a lasting positive impression.
Responsible for optimizing the appointment schedule by ensuring the day is full, with limited gaps.
Manage daily patient calls and inquiries about appointments, confirmations, any sudden changes and cancellations.
Effectively manage recall system and scheduling new appointments.
Accurately maintain patient database, electronic and paper files.
Manage and file all patient records and charts, insurance claim records.
Able to effectively communicate with insurance companies regarding patients' claims (missed or late payments, delays in processing, etc).
Requirements
Requirements:
Minimum 1 year experience as a Dental Receptionist.
Hard working, self-motivated, positive individual with computer skills and knowledge in dental software (especially *OpenDental which will be considered a strong asset) .*
Fully bilingual (French and English – speaking and writing), mature, professional and dependable (one evening per week and all Saturdays are involved).
Comprehension of dental terminology, procedures and diagnosis.
Excellent knowledge of dental insurance process and policies.
Clinical background considered an asset (Assistant, Hygienist etc.).
